I have just recently been informed that osteoarthritis of the knees is an industrial disease and Disablement benefits can be paid. Since I have had 4 operations for this condition including a knee replacement. I finished work with british coal in 1994 and looking for information of how the time difference from leaving this employment and showing symtoms of suffering from osteoarthritis of the knees can affect my claim.
