Rating and Commenting
The first step to contributing to WHIG by leaving feedback on resources.
The entire point of WHIG is that it needs to be useful for you. If it's not, then we're doing something wrong and you should tell us. To make this happen, there are a variety of way you can leave feedback for other users, authors, or the site administration and we've aimed to make it as easy as possible.
Firstly, at the end of each page you will see its five-star rating. The more stars are filled in, the higher the resource has been rated. To cast your vote, just click one of the stars - maybe you'd like to try giving this page a full five-star rating?
If you'd like to add something more detailed then you can also use the add comment button, directly below the stars. This will take you to a quick form where you can make a comment on the resource. Submit this and it will be added to the bottom of the page for everybody else to see. You can also reply to existing comments on the page. This is a good way of adding to a resource if you have some additional helpful information, or giving an alternative point of view if you think there is something wrong.
However, there are times that you might like to leave more private feedback for the submitter of the resource. In which case, you can contact them directly and your message will not be displayed on the page. Just under the title of the page you will see "Submitted by" followed by the author's name or username. Click on that link and you will be able to make a comment that they will receive in their e-mail.
