How to find a specific resource by using WHIG's search facility.

There are two ways to search through the content of WHIG, and both are easily accessible from every page. The quick search is available in the top-right of the screen at all times. Just type in one or two words and on most browsers will pop up the LiveSearch box as you are typing. You can click on these with your mouse or use the arrow keys to select them and jump directly to that resource. However, the item your looking for might not always be in the top few entries, so you can just click the "search" button to get the full list of results.

If you would like to make a more detailed search, or search on some different fields then the search tab will take you to a form allowing you to do this. Here you can specify criteria for specific keywords, authors, resource types, dates, and more. While the form is fairly long, a bit of experimenting can provide you with more personalised search results.
