The conference was held in Derby on 5th November, 2005.

The speakers in the morning included:

• Dr Keith Prowse, Consultant;
• Liz Darlison from Mesothelioma UK;
• Malcolm Crawford from Derby City Welfare Rights;
• Dr Rajiv Menon, Consultant Psychiatrist who spoke in reference to people with Pleural Plaques.

There was a panel of speakers in the afternoon which included Amicus, Rowley Ashworth and Thompons Solicitors and a representative from DAST.
