- Sheffield Occupational Health Advisory Service (SOHAS) works to prevent and alleviate the negative effects of work on health. Advisers an independent, free, and confidential service to workers in the Sheffield area through GP surgeries, office appointments, and over the telephone. SOHAS also works with partner organisations across the UK, with local and national government to try and create a higher quality of working environment for everybody.

- This is a free NHS service to support and encourage people to stop smoking. The service works across the city, and allows people to join local stop smoking groups run by trained health professionals. The groups run for approximately one hour for six weeks, and take place in lots of venues at lots of different times, to be sure everyone has the chance to join a group and still fit in other lifestyle commitments.
